Rare Matter | Decorex 2026

06 Outubro 2026
Monochrome photo collage for Rare Matter Decorex 2026 showing artisans crafting handmade furniture, focusing on fine design details and traditional woodworking techniques to create bespoke furniture.

What makes something rare?

Perhaps it is not how difficult it is to find, but how meaningful it becomes. In a world surrounded by infinite choices, true rarity can be found in the things made with purpose, shaped by knowledge, and given the time to become something lasting.

This October, Stylish Club returns to Decorex London 2026 with Rare Matter, a concept that looks beyond the concept of mere  furniture and explores the relationship between Portuguese craftsmanship and its meaning.

At Olympia London, we invite you to discover our latest collections and designs, where materials and form come together through a slower and intentional approach to contemporary furniture.

Join us at Stand J10 from the 11ᵗʰ to 14ᵗʰ of October and discover a selection of pieces created to be lived with, remembered and kept.

Concept

Every design begins with a material.

Before it becomes an object, there is a decision. What to preserve. What to transform. What to bring forward. Through this process, something ordinary can become deeply personal.

This is where matter begins to matter.

Rare Matter explores the value found beyond the surface of an object. Wood carries the marks of time. Stone holds traces of its origin. Materials change through touch, use and the passing of years. In the hands of those who understand them, they acquire another dimension.

At Stylish Club, craftsmanship is part of this story. Each piece is shaped through a dialogue between material and form, guided by the knowledge and time required to make it well.

Rarity is not simply about what exists in limited quantities. It can be found in the decision to create with purpose. In choosing quality over excess. In allowing materials to speak through their natural character, rather than asking them to become something else.

Rare Matter invites us to consider what is worth keeping.

A piece that becomes familiar. A material that grows richer with time. A design that remains relevant beyond the moment in which it was created.

Because perhaps true rarity is not found in what is difficult to possess.

Perhaps it is found in what is worth holding on to.

Expected Pieces

For Decorex 2026, Stylish Club exhibits a selection of new designs shaped by this relationship between material and craftsmanship.

Each piece carries its own story, translated through proportion and materiality. Together, they create a space designed to inspire, and to encourage discovery, inviting guests to look closer and experience the details that give each design its unique soul and character.

Dolomites Console

The Dolomites Console is shaped by the belief that beauty can emerge through pressure and time. Inspired by the mountains that give the collection its name, its form evokes a sense of elevation and stillness, bringing stone-inspired character into contemporary furniture.

Softly contoured surfaces meet architectural structure, creating a dialogue between weight and lightness. Its elegant details echo the layered formations of the Dolomites, where every line and curve carries the memory of continuous transformation.

As a luxury console table, the Dolomites Console brings a poetic expression of resilience into the interior, translating the character of nature into a distinctive contemporary form.

Stone Armchair

Inspired by the journey of river stones, the Stone Armchair carries the beauty created through continuous transformation. Its smooth, rounded forms echo stones polished by flowing water, expressing strength through a softer silhouette.

The craftsmanship can be seen in every detail, where the chair’s structure meets the tactile quality of its upholstery. Each contour creates a sense of movement, recalling the organic evolution of forms shaped by water and time.

As part of contemporary living room furniture, the Stone Armchair brings an intimate presence to the interior. Its flowing silhouette and soft upholstery create a place for pause, where nature, design and comfort meet.

Olivier Side Tables

The Olivier Side Tables portrays the physical essence of the olive tree, translating the way wind and light shape its structure over decades. Their solid bases recall the weight of weathered trunks, while the surfaces extend like protective canopies, creating an architectural presence inspired by nature.

Every detail outlines the art of restraint, allowing the organic character of the material to guide the design. Created to gather character over time, the side tables express a form of minimalist design where strength is found through simplicity and stillness.

As a work of luxury furniture, the Olivier Side Tables bring the spirit of slow, deliberate  creation into the modern home. Crafted as handmade furniture, they connect the natural world with contemporary interiors through a design shaped by purpose and material.
